Seventh-day Adventists believe in a literal six-day creation, and that God rested on the Seventh-day day and sanctified it. Science is important, and informs how we relate to health, wellness, ecology, the environment, and every other aspect of our lives. Where science conflicts with scripture, we choose to believe that ultimate truth is found in scripture, and not in science that can change with each new discovery—God is the same today, tomorrow, and for eternity.
